Happy Easter!
Candyland
We had a pretty intense game of Candyland last night. Dave and Luke were a team and Maggie and I were a team. Well, we were supposed to be a team, but she spent the whole game gnawing on the extra game piece.
Her lack of interest in the game didn’t stop us from winning though.
Adam has already demanded a rematch.

Funny Bunny
We took the kids to a local toy shop this afternoon to see the Easter Bunny.
Luke wasn’t crazy about the rabbit. Whenever there were no other kids around she would come to where he was playing and talk to him, and he eventually warmed up.
Just for fun, here are Luke and Adam the first time they met the Easter Bunny.
Rising Star
She’s sneaky, quiet, and fast. Time to bust out the baby gate.

Superheroes!
Lately Luke has been pretending to be a superhero, so I finally made myself sit down and finish some capes for him and Adam. I had planned on making them for the boys for Christmas, but that didn’t happen. They really didn’t take much time at all once I finally got started.
The pattern called for the capes to be lined, so I made them reversible. Adam’s is green on one side, with a “Super Adam” logo on it, and black with a Batman symbol on the other.
Luke’s is red on the “Super Luke” side, and blue with a Superman “S” on the other.
Adam prefers the Batman side, because Batman is a real superhero.
But not me, I’d take Super Adam over Batman any day of the week.
