We went to the zoo today for the first time in forever. We got lucky and Fiona, the baby hippo, was out with her mom, Bibi.

Adam, our hippo lover, snapped this cute picture of the two of them.

The three big kids wore their Team Fiona shirts from Mabel.

We also visited the baby giraffes and flamingos, a baby takin and an okapi, and we looked for the baby rhino (he and his mom weren’t out in the yard today though).

Maggie posed herself like this. She loved having her picture taken with the statues.

Annie spent her first zoo visit sleeping. She woke up as we were leaving.

Hopefully we’ll be able to see the real baby rhino on our next visit.
