<\/a><\/p>\nAdam combined his snack with a craft and made a St. Patrick’s Day rainbow necklace.<\/p>\n
Making the necklace prompted a lot of talk about rainbows, leprechauns, and pots of gold. Adam decided to make a leprechaun trap, so we can try to catch a leprechaun this year. First he drew up his plans, then he got to work building it.<\/p>\n The final product evolved a bit as he was making it, but did stay pretty close to his original sketch.<\/p>\n He made the stairs look like a rainbow, to trick the leprechaun into following them. At the top, we placed a layer of tissue.<\/p>\n Once the\u00a0leprechaun gets to the top of the rainbow stairs, he will see the gold and run toward it, the tissue will break, and he’ll fall into our trap.<\/p>\n I’ll let you know how it turns out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I attempted to get a good picture of the three kids after church today.
