I&#8217;ll work on getting the pictures posted later, but for now I just want to relate a conversation Adam and I had outside the one of the exhibits. I was reading a sign with information on leopards and the last sentence said something along the lines of &#8220;leopards eat small mammals&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Adam said, &#8220;Am I a mammal mom?&#8221; I thought this was a perfect learning experience and told him, &#8220;Yes you are buddy. I&#8217;m a mammal, you&#8217;re a mammal, dogs and cats are mammals, and lots of other animals too.&#8221; I was about to get in to what makes an animal a mammal when Adam asked,\u00a0in what Dave described as a quavering voice, &#8220;Am I small?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I think we were pretty much able to convince him that a leopard is not going to eat him (or his siblings).
