At Adam’s checkup earlier this week the doctor asked me how many words he says. I honestly had no idea, but guessed “at least fifteen”. When I got home I started a list. This is what I’ve come up with so far:<\/p>\n

  2. Mom Mom (Grandma)<\/li>\n
  3. Dah Dee (Daddy)<\/li>\n
  4. Hat<\/li>\n
  5. Shoos (Shoes)<\/li>\n
  6. Bye Bye<\/li>\n
  7. PLEEEE (Please)<\/li>\n
  8. Wah wah (Water)<\/li>\n
  9. Stay CEE (Stacy)<\/li>\n
  10. Rob<\/li>\n
  11. Papa<\/li>\n
  12. Grandpa (close to how he says “Papa” but different)<\/li>\n
  13. Uh Oh<\/li>\n
  14. Oh No<\/li>\n
  15. Nigh Nigh (Night Night)<\/li>\n
  16. Hi<\/li>\n
  17. DINE SAUR(dinosaur – always said in a growling voice)<\/li>\n
  18. Chee! (Cheese)<\/li>\n
  19. Na nas (Bananas – this does not refer to the fruit, but rather “going bananas”)<\/li>\n
  20. I-no-no (I don’t know – said as one big word and normally accompanied by him putting his hands palms up and shrugging)<\/li>\n
  21. George<\/li>\n
  22. Eyes<\/li>\n
  23. Choo choo<\/li>\n
  24. Ba ba (Belly\/button – they are interchangeable to him)<\/li>\n
  25. Ah-num (Adam)<\/li>\n
  26. No no no<\/li>\n
  27. Bah (Ball)<\/li>\n
  28. Bah Bee (Baby)<\/li>\n
  29. Dat da (Doggy – this was his first word)<\/li>\n
  30. Ah no (Thank you – not sure how this translates, but it’s his version)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    A little more than 15 – and I am sure I’m missing a couple.<\/p>\n
