While we were in Florida, we took a trip to De Leon Springs State Park.
The kids spent some time on the playground and Adam showed off his gymnastics skills.
The park has a natural spring that is 72 degrees year-round.
There are underwater caves and we saw scuba divers there getting ready to go explore.
We ate at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill.
The kids loved having their pancakes cooked right at the table.
After we ate, we went canoeing.
Adam shared a boat with Dave’s parents.
DaveĀ and I were with Maggie and Luke. This was my view, and while it was a beautiful day, I’m not going lie – not being able to see what the kids were doing behind me was a little stressful. And hearing Dave reminding Maggie to sit down as the boat rocked, didn’t help.
I tried to snap a picture while we were out on the water, but couldn’t get Luke.
Here we are at the end of out trip – everyone stayed in the boat (thank goodness) and the kids had a ball.
When we got back they jumped right in the pool again.
Then the kids got all cleaned up for dinner with Dave’s grandparents. Adam suggested I might want to take this picture, because they all looked so nice. That boy knows me so well.
It was so nice to see Grandma & Grandpa U and spend some time with them during our trip.
