We sat in on a drawing class and learned to draw Lucy van Pelt.
We were able to meet a bunch of the characters after the class.
Charlie Brown really liked Luke’s shirt.
Annie was not impressed.
Not even when Linus offered her his blanket.
Their drawings turned out pretty good!
Annie wasn’t able to go on the rides, since we didn’t have socks or shoes for her. We were able to get her on the carousel* by hiding her feet in Dave’s hat.
The kids practiced their lasso skills – with some help from Linus.
Linus also liked Luke’s shirt – and stole his hat.
When he gave it back, he insisted it needed to be sideways – like Charlie Brown wears his.
It was a super fun day.
*I wasn’t sure what the difference was between merry-go-rounds and carousels. Fun fact: Merry-go-rounds usually turn clockwise (from the outside, animals face to the left), while carousels typically go counterclockwise (animals face to the right).
