The Golden Meatball

Earlier this month, we went to see Curious George: The Golden Meatball.

The kids, Maggie especially, had a great time at the pre-show party.

They colored, made necklaces, ate snacks, toured the theater, and had story time.

Before the show they each found a kindness rock (or Papa Rocks as we call them) hidden outside the theater. They have been painting and hiding rocks for others to find since last October. This was the first time they’d found any and they were so excited.

Maggie was over the moon when The Man in the Yellow Hat, let her try on his hat. She kept saying, “I look just like you!!”

It was a really cute show and we all had a great time. I’m so glad we found this little theater.

Drive-in

Lately these kids have been loving watching movies in their “race-cars.” Since this picture the cars have been decorated with stickers and markers and fortified with 100 mph (duck) tape.

Hooray for cardboard boxes.

Adam’s Concert

Monday night we went to the third grade concert. Adam is front and center in the reddish colored shirt.

I apologize if this one gets stuck in your head.

This last one is my favorite; Adam has a speaking part.

So does Maggie if you listen closely. Right before the music starts she says, “I’m so glad did nice.” Annie also enjoyed the concert. She was clapping (after everyone else did – it was adorable).
