The kids all got to go trick-or-treating together at the first Halloween event of the year.

I’ve always been a fan of a good theme, and the fact that all five of their costumes went together (even if they weren’t on the same team), made me so happy.

I loved seeing them all running around together and I know they had a blast trick-or-treating with each other.

Adam really, really wanted to pull out one of his three loose teeth while we were in New York this past weekend.  He was extra motivated after Uncle Steve told him the Tooth Fairy gives more money in New York than in Ohio.

So yesterday Uncle Rock helped him achieve his goal.

Don’t worry, the pliers were just a prop. Rob coached Adam through it, but Adam did pull the tooth out on his own.

Thankfully we had remembered to bring his tooth pillow with us.

The Tooth Fairy left Adam $1.51 and a new chapter book (that’s fifty-one cents more than the going rate in Ohio!).
