30 Weeks (well, 30 Weeks and 3 Days if you want to get technical)

I think I looked cuter at 20 weeks. Here I just look tired and my hair is dumb.

You can tell I’m letting it grow longer again – it’s at the weird “I like to flip up in different directions stage right now”. Or maybe it’s the “Sandy failed girl and doesn’t know how to use a blow dryer or do her own hair”. I blame that on my mother – thanks mom.

Actually I probably could learn to use a blow dryer and hair products if I really wanted to. I do own a blow dryer (I think) and I’ve read the instructions for use (don’t use in the shower or bathtub) but my hair is really thick (that’s my dad’s fault) and my arms get tired. Plus, I’m really not that coordinated and always end up getting my hair sucked in to the blow dryer or tangled in the brush.

I’m just waiting for it to get long enough for a ponytail. Then I’ll be set. I can handle a ponytail.

Cherish

This figurine was the first thing I saw when I got home from work last night. Dave gave it to me as an “almost” Mother’s Day gift, since I’m “almost” a mom. He is amazing and I am a very lucky girl.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about this gift is that Dave can’t stand these figurines. He thinks the faceless people are creepy. But he still got it for me because he knows I like them and it would make me happy. Now I just have to keep him from drawing faces on them with a marker (he has threatened this in the past).

What’s Your Guess?

I thought this looked like fun.

I already know Dave says “boy” and mom and grandma Elsa are voting “girl”.

Oh, and I know I haven’t posted any Grand Canyon pictures. I am not even going to commit to a date to get those up here. I am apparently really terrible at that. It’s a good thing I’m cute.
